Project Medusa





About the Project

Project Medusa was a short animation project. Taking the Medusa mythology, we added a unique twist by putting the gorgon story in a medieval European setting.


The project was showcased in the 2013 Minneapolis Electronic Theater.


I served as Lead Artist on a team of 5 for this project. I assigned tasks, organized the schedule and worked with the team in a producer role to utilize each team member’s individual strengths for the project.


I was responsible for creating the final scene in Maya (incorporating all assets), handling rendering and lighting. I also worked as a 3D Artist and modeled various props for the scene.


Finally I also worked on the initial camera animation, setting the tone and feel for the piece.
